Just cos you don't LIKE it or don't understand it (or in some cases never heard it) doesn't mean it sucks and the peple who perform it have low iqs. That is sterotypical. All music has its place in the world and ll music is appreiated by someone. If you dn't like it ignore it. You don't have to disrespect the rap or pop community which seems to get the most heat. Personally Im not a big rap fan or a pop fan but I listen to alot of stuff that can be considered pop and rap.
Pop=popular btw.... Than would make olp opo in canada... I suppose not hear cos not many people give a flying fuck about them... Sure theres alot more than there were but we could do better.
Ja Rule fucking rocks. He has a serious talent. If you think rap sucks that must mean that everyone should be able to do it. So try please. Go ahead.
Rap is evevrywhere now, even in heavy metal and pop.

we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.

He's fraud, and what kills me the MOST is that the last issue of Rolling Stone gave him one point to Eminem's numerous points in their recently waged rap war.
Know how he got his ONE freakin point? Listen to his diss track called "Loose Change"
Sadly enough, in that song, here is a line that Ja spits - "I really don't care ta stand/But 50, you gon' get shot again/By the M-U-R-E-D-R Inc."
I'm sorry......can't spell your own label's name right, sad. Tool....

I have to fail to agree with thinking Ja Rule rocks and has talent. He's a one-man "rip off", and since Ashanti came on the scene he has failed to make a hit solo, without her ass singing next to him. The man has nothing better to do but freakin brag that he does "X" regularly, I feel he's one sad individual and his following is decreasing fast. Ja's next CD is going to struggle to go multi-platinum unless he pulls something out of his ass.
I like rap.....nothing against the music, just him. I'm a huge fan of DMX, Dre, Treach, KRS1, Cannibus, LL, Em, the list could go on.

i'm personally not a fan of Linkin Park, But i do respect them, becauce lets be serious, if it was some underground band, we'd all think they were at least interesting. But seeing as how the media has completely fucking destroyed LP for us we hate them, or at least that's why i never haven given them to much of a chance, i do respect chesters voice, and they can do what they do good. Don't expect me to get into them though, having a band hit it that big is just a turn off for me, besides why buy the record when you can hear them everywhere you go?
As for the music revolution comment made earlier i agree. Problem is music revolutions start out pure but get popularized by the media, quickly killing it. Grunge died because, grunge being popular is the anti-thesis of grunge. Just our minor Punk rovolution is bullshit, all these bands are just watered down gruel for the idiotic masses. Is it not the anti-thesis, to be able to go out and buy Punk clothes in a designer store? the moment it becomes popular it is no longer rebellion, it is conformity. Hence the ending of any rock genre revolution.
But ifthe world was perfect and this wouldn't happen i would love to see a Post-Grunge, mild Prog-rock, or just plain altrock revolution. But once again, post grunge is immposible to happen again. altrock would no longer be ALTERNATIVE ROCK, just watered down rock with the odd interesting bit. And prog rock would no longer be progressive
So depressing, which is why i have decided if we love a music, we must keep it alive and well, but never in the mainstream, the moronic masses, will take what we love and cherish, make it there own, and warp it into a grotesque shadow of it's former self, to wish for the popularity of your little secret love, is to wish for it's slow heartbreaking death......
sorry for the drama
