"Not Enough" (Live) is gonna be a huge hit.
Well, if they wanna sell and bla bla bla... yeah, they got it right, they should have Not Enough as a single. But if they wanted to please their hardcore fans, they should release Our Time Is Fading, in my opinion.
But the fact that they released such a horrible tracklisted CD makes me think that they reallu aren't thinking about their hard core fans, but the recently new conquered fans from the Gravity era.
Anyway... just my opinion.
Cheers.

ok 1. This live CD is supposed to represent the songs played on the Gravity tour. Not their entire career. They made this for their fans because not all of them have the ability to get bootlegs.
2. They left off 5 songs, some were obvious choices and others we can debate, but the fact is they tried to keep the songs that they played throughout the tour every night.
3. If you want to hear older songs played live than go get the bootlegs. They know that a lot of their extreme fans can get a hold of these therefore everyone, new and old fans alike get to hear them live.
4. Why would they release OTIF anyways? because it's a song that didn't make Gravity? ya that makes sense, let's release a song that is only on one CD when we can release another which is on two. From an industry stand point releasing Not Enough is smarter.
5. They already treat their hardcore fans good enough. They stand outside with them after concerts, they support bootlegging, they've always been a band that appreciates their following.
Why please a few fans, when they can please thousands? Does it matter which is a single? I mean you can always just pop in your cd and listen to any song you want over and over again, so what does it matter?

I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

I think that Columbia would have some input into the tracklisting.
On top of that, OLP has had so many radio hits (mostly in Canada) during their career. I think that's part of the problem with the live shows now, I don't blame them at all, but they always play those songs. Those are the songs that most people come to see. Sure you have some diehards that want to see Story of 100 Aisles, Under Zenith ETC..... But most people show up for the singles.
Releasing a Live CD (basically this is a greatest hits cd) won't be any different, they need to include as many of those songs as they can.
As for Not Enough vs. OTIF: I'm not sure what the big deal is. I mean, you're gonna have the cd anyway. OLP's hype from Gravity has died down and this seems like filler until they complete their next album. Also, I think this was part of their plan from the beginning. I remember reading right after Innocent came out that Raine wanted to release Not Enough at somepoint
And personally i think the release of a live cd IS for the hard-core fans. Sales from Live CD's are usually quite low. I mean how many OLP newbies are going to buy a live CD?
I agree.
It's not their fault they have so many singles. They would need to remake some of those singles, like slow them down, or make them harder, or whatever if they really wanted to keep playing the singles everyone wants to hear, but still keep it interesting for the hardcore fans

When Gravity was first released, DJ from most of the radio stations that have listened to it entirely, 90% said Not Enough was the best song on the cd, and that it would be a huge hit, although at that time they had no idea it woulld be a single, or now, im not sure if it is or not with all the other stuff floating around. I think if they do plan on making it a single, its a great idea, it will be big, specially if they make a video for it (They fucking better) like how hard would it be to take the 3-5 mins of video from the live cd of Not Enough. If you release an album with a Video/single, you are most likely to sell more of the cd's, And withthe huge Sars concert in T.O, and the mmva's the next day, this is a very good time to get the word out, and plying Not Enough at both events would be the smart business plan.

They won't make a video for Not Enough. This cd is just something to keep the fans interested and pumping money into the band's bank accounts while they are in the studio. I don't think they'd leave the studio, make a video (while paying for recording time) and then go back to work on the cd now. It's too late for something like that. This is just meant to be something like Right Behind You, a song on the radio to keep your interest in the band alive until their new cd leaks on the internet.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

You don't think that perhaps they'll take the video footage from the DVD and use that for a video?? Bands are doing that a LOT these days. Look at what 3 Doors Down did, and "When I'm Gone" got even bigger.
