Audioslave

Post by I AM ME »

audioslave seem to intrigue me alot, it's much more then your classic boring rock and more then a Rage or soundgarden album. There guitarist is worshiped for his mastery of the axe, and fusion of Funk and rock (although personally i think Jag Tanna of IME pulls it off much better)
anyone have oppions on Audioslave?

I've only heard one Audioslave song so far, "like a Stone". It annoys me a lot, because it keeps getting stuck in my head and then there is absolutely NO way of getting it out.

Audioslave is an awesome band! As you said, not one of my absolute favorites, but great none the less. I saw them live one time, and I think Tom Morello may be the best guitarist I've ever seen live!

meh Audioslave was never posed to be RATM and persoanlly i see more in common with Soundgarden then RATM. And i agree Tom is a amazing guitarist, but i still think Jag Tanna is better, Tom's just more well known because he was in RATM and he's american

I miss Soundgarden and RATM, but I love Audioslave. Cochise and Like a Stone are amazing songs. I could listen to Like a Stone for days upon days while losing my voice from screaming it at the top of my lungs. What You Are is also a good song, if you haven't checked them out yet, I would suggest it.

RATM annoyed me, but Soundgarden as cool. Anyway, I certainly recognize the talent on Audioslave, but I just don't like them. Tom is amazing, and Chris can write good. It just doesn't... I don't know... sound good? I like Like a Stone, but didn't like Cochise at all.
