Every now and then I fall out into open air just to feel the wind , rain and everything .
And though the hum and sway gets me down, I ' ll find the way to peace and openness .

Well... maybe one more.

Just because I am sexy, naked, a bassist, and sporting a top hat doesn't make me Duncan Coutts!

Idealist wrote: holy hell i was just looking at the newsweek list of top 100 public schools in the country and #1 was IA in my town...i have a lot of friends who go there, however "public" is a misleading. their school curriculum is geared toward the international baccaloriate test and if you get a C average, you are sent back to your home school (the school you would be assigned to if you didnt get picked [by lottery] to attend IA), no joke.
Yeah, well your school was #149 in the nation, so that's nothing to turn your nose at.
My school was in the top 10 back in 1998, and to no surprise to myself, we aren't in the top 800 in the nation anymore. We sent my school to hell the year I graduated. We were consistanly in the top 200, then my graduating class comes up, and we fall off the face of the earth. No wonder my principal called my class "the biggest disgrace to the De La Salle tradition" at my graduation ceremonies last year. Hah.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.
