Have their ever performed these tunes?

Post by Fabio_kun »

IS IT SAFE?
I have never heard of a setlist where they played it. Have they? If so, when?

THE STORY OF A 100 AISLES
From what I heard they played this a couple of times, but it didn't sound good so they stopped playing it. Is that true?

ANNIE
Also, I heard they played this a couple of times... habe they?

THE WONDERFUL FUTURE
I heard they have in fact played it... oh damn, I wish I had a recording of it :D

ALL MY FRIENDS
Have they ever played this one? I have no clue...

Cheers.

you'll see why they don't play that song live once you hear it done live... They butcher it horribly  Raine has trouble with the lyrics cause they're so quick and kinda sound the same (for the chorus) and the verses just get mixed up and ya he can't do it

I undertand why they don't play Wonderful Future and Annie... those tunes are quite tough to reproduce live...

Cheers.

they played a few shows under the name "Belly Flop Communist" where they played Happiness.... from beginning to end and then some older tunes at the end, so annie was played for sure.

I know The Wonderful Future was played in late 2002

All My Friends was played during a club tour when they played a bunch of SM before it came out (my first live OLP experience)

I have never heard of them playing The Story of 100 Aisles or Is it Safe? which are both awesome tunes!
Is there something good, something more?
Is there anything worth dying for?

At the Belly Flop Communist shows, I don't think they played Thief or Consequence of Laughing. I don't think Belly Flop Communist had a large following of tapers, so there aren't any recordings of them.

And The Wonderful Future . . . So good live.

I just can't believe that Wonderful Future sounded that good live... seriously, I'd only believe if I heard it with my own ears :P
Tough tune to play live

So... tunes they've never performed live:

IS IT SAFE?
ALL MY FRIENDS

Are these the only two?

Cheers.
