I just bought UnrealII for $40 + tax. Pretty good so far. A little insanely fast though. I've been playing Splinter Cell, so I'll have to get back into the habbit of shooting first and thinking later.

Civ 3: If you get into this game you wont be able to leave.
WC3: Love this game.. play it all the time on Bnet
Day of Defeat: Half life mod.. very good
Rise of Nations: Combo of Age of Empires and Civ 3. Excellent
Roller Coaster Tycoon: Addicting..
Starcraft: Probably my all time favorite game
Now as you can see i have no life, mostly due to the fact that most of these require quite a bit of time to learn properly.

Nooo!
I've read and am obsessed with SoT! Isn't that enough?!?
I just didn't feel like playing a Morrowind-ish game. I wanted something more randomly action-packed.

But... Morrowind is SO randomly action packed... wander outside any city for like 3 seconds and you'll come across something that needs hacking up

I thought it was more of a think-it-through strategy type game...?

Uhhhhhhhhh
well it involves walking around and talking to people
and doing whichever quests come your way that you feel like doing
it's sort of like living a real life, except in a different body and world.

Morrowinds an RPG. If you want to try an RPGish type game with more "random action" check out Dues Ex. It combines your basic stealth type shooter with RPG elements.

- Diablo II is cool multi.. it's got good game play compared to the first one
- Starcraft.. mmm
- Warcraft (see starcraft)
I play pretty much all Blizzard Games and Maxis games, as well as a few others (Tony Hawk 3, Rollar Coaster Tycoon, Need for Speed). Games I want, Enter the Matrix, Civ3, and a Playstation 2 or Xbox (just for DOA Volleyball though
)

I'd take Civ 3 over the Matrix anyday. In general i stay away from movie licensed games
.

Had it, loved it.
When I'm done with Unreal II, I'll get Morrowind. Geez, there's just no way I can say no to you people.
