I want it, but I'm broke. No deftones this week for me. Then again, the only song I've heard is Minerva, and at this point, I'm not all that fond of it. Hmm.

my friend is a HUGE deftones fan, to me there one of those bands that i think is really cool but i never got around to buying the album, this time i think i'll buy it though
"How can we justify spending so much on destruction and so little on life?" Matthew Good

"The white dove is gone, the one world has come down hard, so why not share the pain of our problems, when all around are wrong ways, when all around is hurt, i'll roll up in an odd shape and wait, untill the tide has turned.....with anger, i'm dead weight, i'm anchored"- IME, God Rocket (Into the Heart of Las Vegas) ^ Some say this song is about a terrorists thoughts before 911

"Pray for the sheep" Matt Good
"But it's alright, take the world and make it yours again" Matt Good

I felt it in the wind, and i saw it in the sky, i thought it was the end, i thought it was the 4th of July.

Well, I loved Around the Fur, but White Pony didn't do it for me, and based on the song they did for Matrix Reloaded, I'm not so sure how this release is going to be.

I've never been able to grip onto the Deftones......like everybody loves them and somehow I still miss out on something.

But yeah, when I was in Sam Goody last week buying the new 3EB the guy tryed to talk me into reserving my copy of the Deftones......along w/ the new Staind and Less Than Jake

i have the cd i havent listened to it all yet. it is very heavy lyrically but musically it still seems to be lacking as did white pony. The best song by far is "when girls telephone boys".

I like it. The first song, however, is the worst song I've ever heard and Lucky You is a bit annoying. Honestly. But a few tracks are very, very good (6, 7, 10) and the rest are just good.

i have only listened to a few Deftones songs (Change, Back to school)
those songs imo are awesome, but i havent heard anything else that has gotten my attention, and the single minerva seems rather lifeless to me.
