*** Neil's UPDATE ***

Ok......here's my problem. For some DAMN reason my computer is now not allowing me to upload any music off of cd's onto my harddrive (no clue why, I do get a messed up error msg though)

This is whack b/c I was able to upload ALL of my OLP stuff and then THIS, WTF?

Sooooo....unless I can figure this situation out, I have a couple of options. Somebody with a decent net speed who has a messenger that could take the file transfer or (a last resort) I'll simply mail my copy of the cd to somebody with skills, they can upload it to the hub, and I'll simply DL it again and burn, like so.

Who's got an opinion? I need to do something b/c if I don't get this cd to ya'll I'm gonna go nuts.

I have them all on my computer as mp3s...I can get them to you through AngelFire. The only problem is (as I said before) I'm on a really slow connection, so it's going to take me forever to upload them. I stayed connected last night when I went to sleep and managed to get 3 songs uploaded (that's about all that service will take, it gives 20 megs) Unfortunatly, it's not just the 20 megs as a limitation either, there is, of course, a bandwidth limit. Therefor, I'm going to private-message you with the address as opposed to posting it here. Please let me know (either by posting here, private-message, or e-mail at bovine@enter.net ) when you have the 3 d/l-ed so I can put some more up!

Well, just to update you CMers, I have all 12 songs uploaded to the so-called "secret sites" Both Al and Neil have been sent PMs with the addresses. I know that Neil has all but the last 2, not sure how many Al has. Anyway, as most of you know, Neil is going to be making the files "nifty" with track and album info and whatever it is he can do then putting them on the hub...Al is going to upload them to the CM...so you can d/l them from one place or the other. Then, be sure you share!

If I hear anything before it's posted here, I'll be sure to let you know. I'm sure Al or Neil will be letting you know as soon as everything's ready to go though!

The tribute album is on the hub! Just go on and type in "tribute" then a folder should come up called "Happiness Is A Tribute CD" everything is in there. If you're not on the hub, all the info and D/Ls are at http://dchub.bringbackthesun.com

These so-called "secret sites" are on angelfire...hense their "secretness." It's a free service, so the bandwidth is really low. As soon as Al lets me know that he has what he needs, you should all be able to d/l them from here. At that point I could give you the addresses to the "secret sites" but after one person d/ls the 2 or 3 songs on the site, it gets shut down for a few hours, so d/l-ing them from the CM would probably be the easiest even then...but I'll give ya the addresses (especially if Al lets me know that he has all the songs and it just takes him a little bit to get them up on the CM)

it's good so far, but it's to bad you couldn't find "Highway 69"'s Superman's Dead, and 5 star lemon does a really good cover of 4am, they don't try to sound like raine and the singer actually has a really good voice. I knew exit lefts song was going to be good though seeing as how they're a profesional indie band
