I'm happy with the tracklist. I mean I could go on about what they left out and why I like that better than a few of the songs that are on there, but overall, I'm happy with it. I would have been more happy if it had been one show all the way through as opposed to a "cut and paste" type of thing, but I still can't wait!

Brutus is an honorable man
It's just coincidence that oil men will wage war in an oil rich land
And this one goes out to my man taking cover in the trenches with a gun in his hand
Then gets home and no one flinches when he can't feed his fam...

But Brutus is an honorable man...

umm... that was during the SM tour... he didn't carry that over onto the Gravity tour...

I'm VERY disappointed with the fact that it isn't a DOUBLE LIVE album... too many tunes they left out.

Too bad this is was live album from Gravirty.

Okay, I'm still pissed and disappointed...
Only 2 songs from Spiritual Machines, only 2 from Happines, 2 from Clumsy, 2 from Naveed and 5 from Gravity...
And not a double album...

Cheers.

well okay they couldn't put "drive" on there or they woulda had to pay royalties,
The crowd sings 4am, so they probably weren't loud enough to sound good.
The Birdman has a three minute guitar solo by Steve, and there's already another guitar solo on there with Starseed, you can't have two really, it will turn off the non-fans.
"Do You Like It?" was left off probably because it's not a stand out song, it's pretty ordinary when it comes to all the other songs in the set.
"Right Behind You" is another song that doesn't stand out.
and "In Repair" was probably left off because it didn't sound up to par. I'd imagine it would be difficult to perfect it (or at least make it consistent) compared to the rest of the songs.

SO there you have it, those 6 songs were left off, I think it's possible to see their reasoning for it.

my only complaints are that it should probably beena double, and they SHOULD have put in Birdman, does anyone else find it orgasmic during the part where raine has the echo voice during the birdman interlude

"The white dove is gone, the one world has come down hard, so why not share the pain of our problems, when all around are wrong ways, when all around is hurt, i'll roll up in an odd shape and wait, untill the tide has turned.....with anger, i'm dead weight, i'm anchored"- IME, God Rocket (Into the Heart of Las Vegas) ^ Some say this song is about a terrorists thoughts before 911

"Pray for the sheep" Matt Good

Humm i like the set list but it could of been better. I'm not a big fan of bird man but Sm is by far my favorite OLP cd.. and like always it gets jipped. A lot of SM songs dont translate well live though for some reason.. but regardless i'll buy it. In a perfect world OLP would have released a Live Album for the core fans rather than for those who just jumped on the OLP band wagon because of Gravity.. which is what they did. But again im still happy :uh:  :)

I won't be buying it b/c I have full shows from that tour and why buy a half show when I have the whole thing already burned to two cds? I also dont think this was a necessary release if they plan on having an album before the end of the year.

hmm, maybe to support the artist? I mean you could just d/l all five albums. Does that mean that you shouldn't buy them? If you don't want the album because of the tracklist or the fact that it's a single disc or whatever, that's cool by me. Just don't try to justify not buying it by saying that you have a couple full shows that you d/l-ed or traded for or whatever...

Birdman would have been nice and so would in repair or neon crossing(even though they didnt play it on the Canadian tour). I WILL of course be buying it though....no doubt about that....nothing beats digital quality audio of OLP performing live....I cant wait for june 24.
Is there something good, something more?
Is there anything worth dying for?

I can't get it the day it comes out  I'll be in Florida on vacation and we (me and my mom) were not able to rent a car. However, we get back to PA the next day at (I think) 6 or 7 pm, so I'll be getting it then for sure

I also am disappointed in the lack of "The Birdman" and "In Repair", but I definitely will be buying it.

I believe that a song from Gravity could have been a casualty for it, but I am still pleased.

If "the Gravity fans" buy this album, it may in fact get support for OLP's previous albums that the casual fan probably does not know of.

Most people down here believe Somewhere Out There is OLP's first song ever, which is a sad thing.
