I'm guessing, and now this is just a guess, I could be wrong, but I think it could have something to do with mutants. Possibly an experiment gone wrong...?
Anyways...
What's going to happen with the double ending to H-L? Do you think they'll actually have it continue from the first, or just start a new story?

I've found
H-L2 Hype Central but that's about it.
Planet Half-Life is probably the most complete site, informationally. The other other sites are just features from places like Gamespot and such.
