Pepsi's Sony Album -> Our Time is Fading

Post by Axtech »

Rich & Shelley wrote:If you head over to Pepsi.ca and click on "the Pepsi stuff video," you will see a bunch of prizes that you can collect with Pepsi points this summer. One of the items shown is a Sony Music Compilation. According to "the Stuff Online link," one of OLP's songs will be featured on this CD (it is the fourth item on the list). It has not been confirmed which song this will be however, during the video showing the Pepsi prizes, "Our Time is Fading" is played in the background. Could this be the song on it? Guess we will just have to wait and see. Thanks to Trevor for emailing us about this.

Well, it looks like someone out there can get us the studio version of Our Time is Fading. From the clip in the background, it sounds a little slower, and the vocals aren't quite as strong. I can't say I'm surprised at the latter part. I mean, it's just an un-pollished left-over from Gravity. I'm still excited to hear the whole thing though.

OLP might be doing some promo work with pepsi...they are using the live version of Our Time Is Fading to help Pepsi and to promote the "Live in Edmonton and Calgary" cd.

And they did record Our Time is Fading a while back(october i think) cause it was supposed to be on the Daredevil soundtrack....but it got pulled from that soundtrack.

What you hear on the site is the live version....it is clearly not a studio recording.

Me likee. I got all excited this morning when I saw the update on olp.cc, and immediately converted it to mp3. Hehe. I just posted this in another thread, but, come on the hub and get it from me, if'n ya want:

<HUB MSG> If any of you have been to olp.cc this morning, you'll have seen that "Our Time Is Fading" is in some stupid Pepsi Stuff video... well, it sounds fantastic, and even though it's only a 30 second clip, I saved it and converted it and blah blah blah, and now it's an mp3. It's in my files in my "Our Lady Peace/new stuff" folder, and it's called "Our Lady Peace - Our Time Is Fading (clip from PepsiStuff.ca).mp3"... grab it. - nikki4982
