fuck you alan .. seriously .. i've posted a total of 2 times in the past fuckin' week and when heaven forbid I make ONE post and stick up for a band I like, I'm the one that gets called the bitch and 'defensive' .. which is funny coming from you, the asshole of the cm .. the first to jump down anyone's throat if they ever happen to disagree with you.

The closest thing to a popular band that I like is OLP. Just because I talk a lot about Alkaline Trio doesn't mean they're popular or a fad.

It's great Joey, you're being a complete bitch about this band that some one doesn't like, and you're getting defensive. I say you're being defensive because maybe people are able to think for themselves when it comes to music that they like, and aren't so quick to jump on the fad of a band like this, and you become a complete smartass about it. You're such a hypocrite it's funny .. I made one post explaining how the band started, yet I'm a bitch .. you started the insults and you'll keep on with the results cuz that's what you do. Keep going Joey. I wanna hear more. You were being defensive about the band. You can't deny it, and I pointed it out. And the fact about them being a fad, just like Good Charlotte, is right. In two years from now you'll be embarassed for spending money on their cds, mark my words.

And by the way, you can have your own opinion and all, but when you say I am wrong about something in a condescending way, I am going to respond. I was right, and you were acting like a bitch, but I'm not supposed to point that out, right?

Fine, point out where I was bitch? My explanation of how the band started? Cuz I said I hated how people talked shit about a band they don't know anything about? That's not being a bitch, that's stating my opinion and being honest and that post wasn't directed at anyone .. so who was I bitch too?

Yes, you know 3 bands I happen to like. One band that's included among your list of favorites too, so really you can't say anything .. sure OLP is popular, I've been a fan since I was 16, back in the Naveed days, nearly 10 years go .. OLP became popular, does that mean I have to stop liking them? Yes I like Good Charlotte .. again, a band that's been around for 8 years .. first cd of theirs failed, suddenly with their latest cd, they've become 'popular' so again, do I have to stop liking them because suddenly they've been propelled into 'popularity'?? Popularity they themselves don't even feel comfortable with. So I guess based on 3 bands you know I like, you can lump me into a category of only liking what's "hot" .. I don't think so. Especially not when 2 of those bands, were literally unknown when I first got into them.

Oh and please point out where I said you were wrong in a condescending way, as you put it .. considering my first post was not directed towards anyone in particular ..

I see that as you being condescending. You're being rude and you're saying I am wrong, when they are a Christian band, and I took offense to it. You're being an ass tonight, it needs to stop. So let it go for once.

By the way, how did you hear of Good Charlotte? Usually people from Canada don't get into an American band when they're still local and all. Or did you head "Little Things" on the radio and got on their bandwagon before they were annoyingly popular? Being on the radio means you have some popularity.

How about we stop the pointless bitching now, ok? We're getting nowhere here because we don't like the same music. So let's just move on, ok?

no you are wrong they are NOT christian and i will get the article to prove they are not christian. they were mis-labled b/c they shared a label with christian bands and they are not religious at all and all their cds have been removed from religious music stores because of this. Alan the bands you like are popular just like hers. I cant even count the number of kids with Alkaline Trio, Get Up Kids, Bright Eyes, Hot Rod Circuit shirts and pins I see every day. You are not being fair and Joey is getting upset b/c you constantly do this to her when she posts about liking a band. I know you are going to say I am taking sides but this is clearly obvious from reading the stuff you wrote. I cant believe I even have to bother typing this shit after the same thing happened in the Good Charolette thread. Okay now you can talk about me and fight with me instead of her.

Well yes... and no. They are not a Christian Band, but the Beliefs held by the band members are Christian if im correct. Mabye im wrong but i've heard many conflicting reports. I really dont see the big deal though. Their are plently of bands that hold religous beliefs, but it seems only those who are "christian" or hold christian beliefs are singled out.
