X Men Sequel

Post by Automatic_Flowers »

I dont think anyone made this a topic yet.. so I will.

Well, what did everyone think? I thought it was a pretty good movie, kinda long. I liked the fact that you didn't have to see the first movie (like me) to understand the sequel. I thought the ending could have been better though.

Nightcrawler was amazingly cool. Also, the only other thing I have to say is:

Phoenix! Phoenix! Phoenix! Phoenix! Phoenix!!

I hope there's at least one other x-men nerd on here.
Just because I am sexy, naked, a bassist, and sporting a top hat doesn't make me Duncan Coutts!

He was awesome in the opening sequence but throughout the movie, he started getting lame. I was hoping he'd kick more ass like he did at the whitehouse.

the best part of the whole movie was the 5 minute matrix trailer that came before it.

other then that it was a B- popcorn movie. the only really cool parts were rebecca romijn stamos and when magneto busted out of his prison.

I thought it was a really entertaining movie, although i think the thing that lacked was the characterization like in the first one. The characters had a little more to them with the whole Rogue/Logan thing, and the Logan/Jean Grey thing. But how cool was it when Wolverine sunk his claws into the FBI dude in the kitchen? The entertainment factor was there...that's all you can ask for in this day in age, sadly :uh:
