I know, I was trying to make a comment on the board, bastard. You ruined it.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

That's because I love you, in a homosexual way.

anyway...

another BE song for you to dig your teeth into.

on my way to work

there is a car parked where the block begins
and there are people singing praises
say it's all because of him
and there is a bird perched on a frayed wet wire
and his voice sings out for a lover
but its covered by the choir of voices
reaching way beyond the rafters
with devotion they perform these sacred tasks
they cross themselves and offer up their checkbooks
slight suffering is not too much to ask
besides we all are making money
and we are all fucking alone
and we don't know what we are doing
maybe just buying us some hope
because we know that we are lonely
yeah, lonely that's for sure
and the older ones are coughing
and the older ones are dying
maybe we are all dying
i pass a graveyard on my way to work
today i saw two dozen white roses
on a fresh new mound of dirt
and i wondered about the occupant
when the darkness finally swallowed him was he calm and content
or was he sweating in a struggle to keep breathing,
ripping apart the sheets that dressed his bed
crying out loud for someone to help him
and collapsing on his back all pale and dead
maybe it's me who's this unstable
always obsessed about the end
why can't i let what happens happen?
and just enjoy the time i spend
oh how i wish it was so easy
but when there is no point to anything it can get a bit confusing
why is that i keep going?
why is that we keep going?
HARDCORE!!!

OMG. I can't believe I din't think fo you
until now because when I think on
a scale of one to ten you're like YWELVE.

 Yes, but it is so true. Whoa, Bethany you made me Bright Eyes OBSESSED. I feel like, jumping off a bridge listening to this. I have downloaded like 12 of their songs and I love them.. I'm so young, and this music is so depressing. But thanks for telling us about BE, I love the sadness! Let me go download "Alkaline Trio" or whatever that is now.
Young girl, don't cry
I'll be right here when your world starts to fall
Young girl, it's alright
Your tears will dry, you'll soon be free to fly

I downloaded "sunrise" last night, because my friend was writing band names on her hand in english (yes, our class is asinine, and downright boring) and be just happened to be on there. And i'm like, ay, bright eyes! I've heard of them! This song shocked me at first; I expected them to be another emo band.... but it's great. Great pick, guys, I'm definetly going to pursue be.
[glow=red]WHOOPA![/glow]

I was then to be part of the mystery,
to love and be loved. Let's just hope that is enough.

If anyone created it, it's Connor. You don't write the lyrics and sing, you just push the band on people kinda like I push Alkaline Trio on people. So does that make me a believer in the Church of Satan, an alcoholic, and amazing bassist, guitarist, and drummer?

and where that is i'm pleased as piss to say
i'll never really know

"The Calendar Hung Itself" is freaking awesome live. They need two dudes on the drum set because it's so percussion-y. :P
