Nothing too exciting, but here's some STRANGE "news"...
Last night at about 7pm, I was in the car, scanning through radio stations trying to find something decent on... and, I hit 88.5FM (I have no idea what kind of station it is... but regardless...) and what's playing??? Raine and Chantal's version of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". I was like: ... I'm *still* baffled by it. I'm in New Jersey (near Philadelphia), so it's not like anyone around here knows who either Raine or Chantal are (except maybe if they saw Raine, he'd be "that hot guy from that Somewhere Out There video"... ), so yeah. Even stranger, I had just bought "What If It All Means Something" (Chantal's "new" album) and was opening up the CD as it came on the radio.
Just thought that was interesting and worth posting. Yeah.

that's pretty strange. I STILL haven't heard the version, although I don't spend much time looking for it. It was pretty cool though when I was driving in driver training and Sell My Soul came on the radio twice.

it's not scary at all. i think the little percussion machine thing in the background is kinda cheap, but i didn't find it strange at all. i liked it.

Whenever death may surprise us, let it be welcome if our battle cry has reached even one receptive ear and another hand reaches out to take up our arms.
Nobody's gonna miss me, no tears will fall, no ones gonna weap, when i hit that road. my boots are broken my brain is sore, fer keepin' up with thier little world, i got a heavy load. gonna leave 'em all just like before, i'm big city bound, your always 17 in your hometown
I listen to 88.5 all the time. XPN is a college station based at the University of Pennsylvania. I'm actually not that surprised that you heard it on there, they play sooo much different music!
Anyway, I got "For The Kids" the day it came out and I love their take on "Twinkle." I also have Chantal's "new" album, I've had it for a while now and I love it. I got it from hmv.com before it was released here in the states.

Brutus is an honorable man
It's just coincidence that oil men will wage war in an oil rich land
And this one goes out to my man taking cover in the trenches with a gun in his hand
Then gets home and no one flinches when he can't feed his fam...
And he can't understand how everyone goes on breathing when true love ends, his mother whispers quietly... heaven's not a place that you go when you die, it's that moment in life when you actually feel alive

Aha! I figured it was a college station. I never listen to the radio, so I know practically nothing about stations... I know 100.3 is Y100... and that's about it. But, I've heard of XPN......... and, I don't care... I'm still shocked I heard that on the radio.

is it just me or does raine seem to totally change his voice when he's singing with chantal? on both of the songs he sounds kinda...breathy or something
probably cause they make diffrent styles of music so he tries to use a voice to compliment her better then a rock star voice, that and he probably doesn't want to do anything to weird to scare of any of Chantals fans
