Wouldn't you feel like a bunch of asses if you were sued by your fans.

They deserve to refund everyone that went to see Creed. The asshole was too drunk to stand, let alone sing any of his songs. Therefore, they deserve to pay for their ignorance, and hopefully, fall off the face of the earth.

At least Iggy Pop can get some words out when he sings. Scott Stapp couldn't even stand or remember the chorus to a song like 'Higher." So from now on, if a band puts on a shitty show, I am suing like mad!

PS isn't Stapp sposed to be god boy?

Yeah, Stapp is supposed to be. But then again, he does drink and sleep with groupies, so I would like to say he's went from following God to pretending he's God.

I remember seeing an interview where he preached about how he couldn't fathom how other bands would drink and party all the time and that he could never do that....

I guess I'll have to be the one to step in and defend Creed, albeit musically. They're a good band, although they are heavily overplayed on radio and MTV, a deadly combination. I think they'll need to evolve musically to stick around and be relevant, but all three of their albums kick ass in my opinion. They'd be even better if no one had ever heard of them.

As for the show in Chicago, I agree with what the fans are doing. I was at the previous show they did in Chicago (August 2000) and it is on record as being one of their best shows not only on that particular tour, but one of the best shows they've ever done, period. It was said on their website by the band members and by numerous fans. Scott Stapp developed an addiction to painkillers after he was in a car accident last year. He was messed up from painkillers, not alcohol or illegal drugs. He may have had a little alcohol that didn't mix well with the pills, which set him up for that ugly display. The fans will not win though, then every fan will sue a band because "they didn't live up to expectations".

If the band couldn't perform, then the fans deserve a refund. It's that simple. When bands are sick and can't perform, they give the concert goers either a refund or a chance to see them again at a later date. Scott Stapp could not perform. He couldn't sing any of his songs and was laying on his back for most of the show. Last time I checked, that's a pretty big hint that some one cannot perform. Therefore, everyone in attendance either deserves a refund or a free concert due to Stapp's inability to perform. I wish I was the judge for this case, because I would make sure the fans got what they deserve. There's no way in hell that Creed should make upwards of $100,000 off a show where they were incapable of singing songs and pleasing the crowd.

very true, and i guess creed isn't as bad as people say, but as nuno said, they're WAY to overplayed, and i find them extrermly generic, and boring, if you want to read a great paper on creeds popularity look up the editorial written by chart mag half a year ago, the article was genious
