that would make sense and probably make a good video, but they never play MoS live.

I wish they'd make something new, original, like In Repair, but I doubt they will. Considering the direction the band has been taking with Gravity, I don't think they'll make anything that complex and beautiful, but something more MTV-ish and tv-friendly.

I think Somewhere Out There is a pretty decent video, though I don't like Raine's 'oh, I'm sexy' faces. Innocent is okay, nothing special about it...

Cheers.

I want a new album too... but let them make music such as Happiness... I don't like their new sound as much as their older stuff... but I doubt they'll return to their old days.

A new CD already? Are they really planning one?
I heard Not Afraid and that was pretty cool.

I think they've been realising albuns too fast... maybe a tour around South America wouldn't be that bad :P

Cheers.

Remember, it's Sony's money grab, not OLP's.

I think the best of cd is just coming out so they can get away from their record deal and do things on their own... that way the new album will be only theirs and not under Sony because I'm sure they realize that they're big enough to be able to do things on their own and they don't need to huge label backing them up

i really dont think that a live cd and a greatest hits cd will be released it is going to be one of the two. If you think about it a concert is basically a greatest hits cd take out all the extra gravity stuff and you have a live greatest hits cd. Edge was wrong about the video so this was probably wrong too. One more reason I hate radio.

Okay... my thoughts about all this.

I HOPE they don't release a BEST OF album... cause that will be ridiculous, IMO. And about a live album... I'd only like them to realese a live one IF they played songs from ALL their albuns... going from Denied, Neon Crossing, Let You Down, Car Crash, Happiness And The Fish, Lying Awake, If You Believe, Middle Of Yesterday and etc... it would be really cool if the band and Steve managed to play stuff from all their carreer.

And it would have to be an over 20 tracks live album...

Cheers.

i hope they do put out a live cd and a best of cd because that way the next album (which is what really matters) will be independent.

remember, you dont HAVE to buy a best of cd.

Yeah. I'd much rather see an Indy 6th album along with a bunch of corporate crap than another Sony-controled album.

seriously though, they can sell our pretty well any decent sized venue, they just have to say "ok we want to play here" and people will come to see them, They're at the point where they have a fan base, and those fans will bring friends...

i don't understand why they seem more controled by sony than at the begining on their career.

wouldnt the record label of been more worried about letting some new, unexperienced band do their own thing than a band which has proven over and over again that they have a huge fanbase and will be successfull, basicly no matter what...

Sony sees the big successful Canadian band as a huge money grab.
