Would OLP Ever Do Something Like...

Release "Not Afraid" as the first single from the new album? I must say I'd be mighty dissappointed if it was...

You never know, they might, and hey the album version might be way different, it could be better if you don't like the live one so far...

I have tons of bootlegs with different, early versions of OLP songs... some are cooler, some have improved greatly!

Don't get the wrong impression, I LOVE the song. I think it's worlds above Gravity.

I'm just saying I'd be dissappointed if it was the first single :).

I like Gravity, I think it's fun and easy to listen to. I'm just glad that they aren't going the same route (not that I expected them to, but after the drastic change anything is possible)

You win!

Oh and yeah I used to feel the same about Gravity as all the other OLP fans, but, I didn't listen to it for like 3 months and when you listen to it again after that, you appreciate it more, it's still not at the level of the old stuff, but hey, it's better than we give it credit for... Sorta

Heh, I just went through that. My friend and I were on a roadtrip and we put it in, and I hadn't listened to it forever, and I actually enjoyed it all. And I could see where the band was coming from, even though I didn't like it. But yeah, its really not that bad of a cd.

I agree. I think OLP can do a lot better, but it's still listenable.

I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

what fucking difference would it make if they release not afraid?

it's not like you've heard any of the other songs.

christ. what a dumb thread.
