this place, (Calverton), is literally 15 minutes away from my house. so any cmers who wanted to go but didn't wanna pay a camping fee would be welcome to crash at my place. (as soon as i clear that with the parental units, but they agree to most such stuff.)

not worth $150
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

i say it is b/c tickets alone to radiohead would usually be $50 or more and then you get some other awesome bands. The only problem is that is the weekend of my brothers graduation so I definatley cant go sunday and can maybe only go saturday now

Wait, when is this concert? I think I make the road trip. I NEED to see Radiohead.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

That looks like an amazing concert experience to me. Definately worth it.

Every now and then I fall out into open air just to feel the wind, rain and everything.
And though the hum and sway gets me down
, I'll find the way to peace and openness.

Oh man...I am drooling over the lineup, and I would pay that much. Twice.
But school doesn't end for us until late June, so I can't make the trip down there and back up in time to go to school in a semi-lucid state on Monday.

That and my parents already said no.

Sunday is definatly not worth it. Beastie Boys headlineing???

Saturday though...there's some awesome bands there! Radiohead, Beck, Thursday, Dashboard, and (unmentioned on the site) The Streets

It's a bit far for me though. The fact that I don't have a drivers licence doesn't help either :(

The Streets need to do a show in Philly where they headline

Brutus is an honorable man
It's just coincidence that oil men will wage war in an oil rich land
And this one goes out to my man taking cover in the trenches with a gun in his hand
Then gets home and no one flinches when he can't feed his fam...

But Brutus is an honorable man...
