For the moment I have a 25 watt Crate amp with a little distortion thingie built into it, but when I get serious with the bass, I see myself buying a Fender Bassman amp, because I might as well go for the best, right?

I basically have Rob's amp, but bigger. And it practically skips the need for a pedal. That is why I love it like....something I love?

I hate the distortion in my amp. Plus, it's impossible to quickly switch it on or off whole playing.

True, but the music I like uses distortion on all of their songs. So buying the pedal for me would be useless, ya know?

But there's nothing like a good sounding pedal to boost ones confidence.

For a beginner who plays mostly distortion though, what you've got is alright. :mrgreen:

It's hard to find an Alkaline Trio song without distortion that isn't acoustic, so this works for me.

Yeah. The Gt-6 is the best multi effects pedal. I own one and I absolutly love it.

As for distortion. buy a Big Muff pedal

Ok.. I'm looking for an Amp and an effect pedal? Any Suggestions?

I'm not the richest MF in the world, keep in mind. But I can save up. Looking for a portable yet still powerful amp with dis, rev, etc. The effect pedal doesn't have to have like 3000 sounds, and "makes you sound like this person", but you know.. has cool effect that make me sound like Rage/Tool/System/etc :love:

Any Suggestions?
