I once tried to shrink a picture down to avatar size and it refused to work. Grr.

So what kind of cord would I use to screencap? I have some stuff from 1991 that would make great pictures. Can I assume that a regular cable would work?

ya...does anyone know how one would go about making screencaps? or what "program" one should use?

i have these players:
Windows Media Player
Div-x Player (which doesn't seem to work for my OLP videos...)
RealOne
An old crappy version of Quicktime that doesn't really work
VideoLan
and there's a video player on Winamp3

...any ideas anyone?!
