People, please don't make OLP songs for 5th graders. We spell words out here. It's "Are You Sad"
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

I hardly ever cry to a song. I do get tears in my eyes easily, though.

OLP - Thief, Are you Sad?, Not Enough, 4AM
Chantal Kreviazuk - Until we Die
MGB - Apparitions, Strange Days

Every now and then I fall out into open air just to feel the wind, rain and everything.
And though the hum and sway gets me down
, I'll find the way to peace and openness.

ouch..
songs that make me cry.. hmm.. these are gonna be kinda random, but they usually make me cry because of sentimental connections..
Off the Hook - Barenaked Ladies
Evaporated, Magic - Ben Folds Five
Warning Sign - Coldplay
Everything - Lifehouse
Thief - Our Lady Peace (and at one point the entire Happiness album... oh yeah, and Gravity because it's so bad... hahaha im jk)
Sense - Pete Yorn
A Reminder, Bulletproof - Radiohead
Across the Universe - Rufus Wainwright
After All These Years - Silverchair
Mother - Tori Amos
Best I Ever Had - Vertical Horizon
and yea, I don't cry every time I hear these songs.. just sometimes when I'm feeling emotional
boo.

I get down when listening to Radiohead's "Thinking About You" and "No Surprises." No Surprises isn't even a sad song to me, but the entire musical rhythm gets to me to where if I could cry, I would.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

The whole Innocent/Made Of Steel/Not Enough all together bit of Gravity will easily bring me to tears if I'm feeling down.

Other songs that make me cry:
Counting Crows - Colourblind, Raining in Baltimore
The Verve Pipe - The Freshmen Song (this one has loads of memories)
Live - Lightning Crashes I just can't listen to at the moment because I know it's going to make me cry.
Pearl Jam - Immortality
REM - Perfect Circle
OLP - 4am and Blister (as well as those mentioned above and lots of others at various points in time)

olp songs don't really get to me anymore. hearing "Julia" live did, and i'm still very much affected by my bootleg of "teardrop/hope" but only because i'm in awe of the band they once were and pissed that they are that no more.

Holy Shi'ite Muslim, some one on this board actually heard of The Early November. I am shocked.

Whenever death may surprise us,
let it be welcome
if our battle cry has reached even one receptive ear
and another hand reaches out to take up our arms.

 I don't mind how you type it. It was another attempt at being funny, but just coming off as an asshole. You'd be surprised how often my humor gets misinterpreted as being malicious.
