CAN SOMEONE PLEEEEASSSEE HELP ME?!?!

Post by Automatic_Flowers »

Okay.. I'm helping out with a 24 hour fast-a-thon.. so people are going to be sleeping over... and I need something that will fully wake them up for the next days activities..now.. what exactly do I need?? A song! A good, upbeat, I don't need coffee to wake me up song! So if anyone has suggestions please leave them.. oh, and the audience is grades 5-8..and they all pretty much like rap..so it should be something catchy that they won't hate.

Aphex Twin! Propellorhead! Squarepusher! All those crazy electronic stuff that wakes people up!

Not Afraid!

That rap song my friend plays all the time, it has a chorus like: "You. Have. To. Wake. Up. Right. Now..."

Ok, I need help here:

There's this song that starts with some strings intro, then it proceeds to this indie rock song. It goes like:

You got me....
holyshizam
I see you in a submarine...
If you pull me apart just swallow my heart...
...
What do we dooooOOooooOoO

I tried google searching, didn't work.

not afraid is a fucking kick ass song, but i'd go with red hot chili peppers - get on top its a good wake up call song

Alkaline Trio - Trucks and Trains. Screeching guitar wakes me up every morning.
Alkaline Trio - Cooking Wine - Short, but fills you up with energy
Alkaline Trio - Bloodied Up - I can't think of a song that makes me more awake, anxious, and happy at the same time.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

That is very true. I never realized what a good get-up-and-go song that is.

I say break out the death metal! Maybe a little Meshuggah. That would sure wake them up...not sure what kind of mood it would put them in though, I guess it depends what they're into.

Brutus is an honorable man
It's just coincidence that oil men will wage war in an oil rich land
And this one goes out to my man taking cover in the trenches with a gun in his hand
Then gets home and no one flinches when he can't feed his fam...

But Brutus is an honorable man...
