"It went really well, opening up for Avril. We weren't sure what to expect. Quite often there were little girls in the front row with their hands over their ears by the end of the show ... sometimes by the end they were cheering and sometimes they still had their hands over their ears," said Coutts.

Then gets home and no one flinches when he can't feed his fam...
I only saw one Avril fan with her fingers in her ears while OLP were on and even she managed to take them out to applaud Steve's Birdman solo. Her Dad was loving OLP though!
lol...at www.olp.cc there's a few ppl who've written reviews that went for avril but became OLP fans. i think thats cool
-Jillian member of the pokémon league i wanna hold you high and steal your pain away if i don't make it know that i've loved you all along when you are with me i'm free that hazy moon will be ash in the wind real soon
but there's also a bunch of people who met olp without even knowing who they were...they dont realise there's so many fans who would do anything for that chance crazy bastards! :p
grr, there was one girl that was hanging out with 'that opening band i kind of enjoyed' during avril's whole show, cause she past out. and she even wore 'the bass player's jacket. hee hee i should probably learn their names giggle'. if i go on a murderous rampage of avril fans, you all know why.

But then again Avril walked right past me and I didn't bat an eyelid so it works both ways. We were too busy talking to Steve to pay her any attention but when we went back to the queue and told the Avril fans about it they weren't happy to have missed her.
One of the best things I saw on this tour though was an Avril fan with a tie and everything hanging around trying to meet her after the Manchester show but she'd bought and OLP t-shirt and was wearing that with her tie - that made me happy.
That and the woman who came up to us when we were talking to Steve by the OLP bus and said 'sorry to interrupt, but you sound Canadian, I was trying to get a CD of the support band' so while I went to my car to get her one Steve was asking her whether she liked the support band and whether she'd heard of them before - and she never realised who he was. I wonder if she's realised now.
