dude you have no respect calling someone a bitch over the computer because she made a generalization based on her opinion. Alex is uber cool and at least has a mind to think for herself. Apparently banning you from this board once wasnt enough we are going to have to do it again. Do you have nothing better to do then come on a message board and start fights? I think you should just leave yourself this time b/c I am not going to get any joy out of banning you since I would rather see Alex kick you right in the nuts but that is not going to happen. So either apoligize or leave. If you dont do either of those options you will be banned again which is pathetic in my opinion.

I'm guessing this guy isn't half as political as he makes him self out to be and just wants to get a rise out of everyone on this board (I wasn't here yet when it happened the first time)

1. I'm not apologizing to someone that has no respect for a country who has protected the world for 200 years. She started this whole mess and has been just as belligerent as I have. You don't "reprimand" her with your little clumsymonkey powers because she is a good friend of yours. If I get banned she should too. I'll repost all the slander that she has put forth if it will help.

2. You have never banned me in the first place so I don't understand what you mean unless you still have some twinkle in your mind that I am Mouse.

3. Even if you did ban me I'd be back 5 mins later. You cannot officially ban someone from this site. IP's are easily changed.

4. I am only standing for what I believe. Isn't that what you all strive for? To be individual and stand up for yourselves and your beliefs?? I will also prove to you through back posts that I was not the one who started flaming with the "unkind" language.

All in all there is no reason to ban only me. If you wanna ban me and a few others involved in these political debates then fine, but be fair!! Thats all I ask.

"Be fair"? You're the one attacking everyone with a different opinion. You're the one who doesn't seem to know the difference between debating and childishly fighting.

Really, I don't blame him for having "a twinkle" in his mind that you're Amish Mouse. The behaviours are strikingly similar.

If you get banned (again), and then come back to where you are obviously unwanted, you really need to get a life. Sticking around here, even without being banned, is just asking to be hated. There's no point in you being here. No one cares about your opinion anymore. You've given up your credibility by abusing well-known and much loved members. Crawl back to the hole from whence you came. I think you've just about overstayed your welcome here.

This is my fault for not clearing this up better to begin with. Just like Carolyn Parrish, I have nothing against the country as a whole, or its people in general. In fact, I have relatives who live in Texas. My beef is with the policies of the government and with the underlying "money over everything" theme that I've seen time and again. I think the people of the US are just as much victims of their government as anyone else.

Untrue.

True.

Venom wrote:I find it hilarious that she thinks she's so much better than Bush and is almost saying she could lead a country better than he could. Shes in fuckin high school. She knows nothing of the world outside of Canada.

Firstly, age does not equate wisdom, and if you REALLY need proof of that I could provide countless examples. Secondly, you know absolutely nothing about me. I may be 17, but I am also exceptionally well read and have an IQ of 147. My viewpoint is considerably more global than that of many North Americans, due to the fact that my parents are both immigrants and as the child of immigrants from two different countries I have been exposed to a variety of opinions and views from around the world. I dare you to prove that you are more widely-travelled than I.

Venom wrote:Oh yeah I forgot she knows for sure that Saddam doesn't have any more of his weapons that everyone knows he had 5 years ago. He just had a change of heart and destroyed them AFTER kicking out the inspectors in 1998. YEAH FUCKING RIGHT!!!

Ridiculous. My claim is not that Saddam is a good leader or that he is disarmed, but only that the United States government is only worsening the situation through "fuck-you" foreign policies.

Venom wrote:Alex just likes to bitch and I got sick of her egotistical BS. I'm not gonna let some little bitch degrade my country without firing back. All I am doing is defending what she attacked.

Please dispense with the childish mewling. I, like many other people here, have a great deal of respect for other people on this board whose opinion (!!!key word!!!) differs from mine, such as Corey and Reno, because they express those views in a logical and civil manner. I am sorry to say that you don't seem to have gained a similar level of respect for your thoughts. However, you cannot blame that on me.

Money over everything huh?? What about the billions of dollars that our government is sending to Africa to help in the AIDS epidemic?? What about the millions of dollars in food and supplies we are now giving the Iraqi civilians?? What about the Billions we are spending on this war ALONE to rid the world of Hitler Part II??? Yeah we are all about money!

Ridiculous. My claim is not that Saddam is a good leader or that he is disarmed, but only that the United States government is only worsening the situation through "fuck-you" foreign policies.

Fuck you policy?? We have givin Saddam 12 YEARS to rid himself of his weapons!! What has he done to help that process along??? He has thrown the inspectors out when they got too close. How can you honestly say he has done anything to help his cause and his people from what is going on now??? 12 YEARS!!! How long are we supposed to give him Alex??? Just so I can get a sense of where your "outside" influences are comming from would you tell me where you parents are from? Maybe you're right I'm not as well travelled as you, but I hear outside politics all the time. I work with a Thaiwanese doctor, I lived with a Serbian immigrant, and have been lifelong friends with a Russian guy. In all these cases have extensively discussed politics.

Look at how my discussions started. I was very civil until Axtech started with the language flaming followed by you. The "discussions" quickly turned to full blown fights because until I got here no one backed the US with any emotion or proof. I upset you to the point of flaming me because I could back my government up with more than adequate arguements. I have proven the all-mighty doug wrong on countless occasions. We have proved that he will back anyone thats against the US no matter how evil. Doug is just one of those guys that gets atttention by criticizing the government. He finds bogus websites to try and prove his points and acts like they are total fact. You're right Doug they are "independent" sources, but from the mouths of peole just like you that will back any conspiracy they can come up with.

So Alex do me a favor with your huge IQ please tell me how you would have delt with Iraq? Then I'll throw some well thought out contingencies at you. You must keep in mind international laws and policies of the US government. So go ahead. Blow my mind. After 12 years how would you have rid the world (because no one argued in the UN that he needed to go) of Saddam Hussein and his weapons. Also tell me why we deserved 9/11 because you did say that!

getting back to the war of 1812....yay, you beat a country that was less then 50 years old, that was in so much debt at the time it was insane. you invaded D.C., ate hamiltons dinner cause it was still hot and he was outside comanding soilders, then you torched the white house. nobody really won this war, seeing how britian had an ongoing skirmish with france back in the motherland and just left it at that.....a tie so to speak. they spent way too many resources, money, and time on this rag tag army that lost DC, but put up a reasonable fight in most other battles. maybe they lost the battle itself but they made britian want out of this war because it got too expensive. but i'm sure andrew jackson (again my personal favorite president), who slaughtered british troops at the battle of new orleans with not army regulars, but militia men, frontiersmen, and native americans, would have loved to ride into canada (with army regulars) and raise hell. cause well, he's cool like that. count your lucky stars that france got you out of this war, General Jackson was a mean mother fucker. And seeing how DC was burned to the ground, he would have done the same.
Whenever death may surprise us,
let it be welcome
if our battle cry has reached even one receptive ear
and another hand reaches out to take up our arms.

Nobody's gonna miss me, no tears will fall, no ones gonna weap, when i hit that road.
my boots are broken my brain is sore, fer keepin' up with thier little world, i got a heavy load.
gonna leave 'em all just like before, i'm big city bound, your always 17 in your hometown

Hmm.. how about the time that the US defended North America (that includes Canada) from being invaded by German U-Boats during WWII?

http://www.german-navy.de/feature2.htm

How about how the US "protects" your economy by importing 80% of Canada's exports?

http://www.tradewatch.dfat.gov.au/Trade ... Web/Canada

Oh you're right... never.

No, it was an actual curious question, no offense intended.

Interesting, I didn't know about the U-Boats.

No problem, I was responding to the other post. And I don't want it to sound like Canada needs the US to survive but I did want to point out that the US does help support Canada. However, the US needs Canada just as well.

Well, its true. With everyone trying to be patriotic and playing the "my dad's better than your dad" game, we are taking 1000 steps backward.
