the briggs opened. they were freaking amazing. great band.
throw rag was next. they had one guy playing a washboard and a set of cowbells with spoons. fun, fun band. awesome as well.
and flogging molly was just great. they were hilarious and talked about being against the war too.
i recommend all these bands on cd and on tour.
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.
Yes! Flogging Molly fans! I never knew they existed!
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.
Bond together, me boys! I first heard them 2 years ago... my friend got back from Warped and was like, "you have to hear this." And I was absolutley dumbfounded.
[glow=red]WHOOPA![/glow]
I was then to be part of the mystery,
to love and be loved. Let's just hope that is enough.
