I ended up second row in front of Duncan and he and Mike were singing to us lots. Then Raine climbed the speakers right in front of us during Starseed. And we spent Avril's set in the bar chatting with the editor of Rock Sound.

You know that I hate you, don't you? ;) did they play new stuff? I heard somewhere that they were...

I didn't go, no. I realised that I was meant to be working that night and couldn't get anyone to cover. The tickets were probably stupidly priced anyways.

Next time, though, next time. We shall have to meet

Looks true to me. I was under the imperssion that everyone in Amsterdam smokes pot, but maybe I'm wrong. Even if they do, Raine still sucks.

Yeah, so they deleted this part of the article on olp.cc, go look for yourself, right after he talks about it being too strong. I don't know why they did that.

I'm guessing it's the first one, because I'm sure they don't want rumors running rampant just to find out it's not true. But, if it is because they want to protect their image, that's really lame. Although I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Amsterdam .. isn't that the country where smoking weed was legalized?

Raine's a toker

Amsterdam is not a country! It's the capitol of Holland. And yes, weed is legalized (or better said: tolerated) here.

Well, first of all, I don't know what the fuck that guy is talking about in regards to chugging. YOu don't chug anything with pot, but it might be some slang referring to something or another, I don't know. And skunk isn't just one type of pot, there's a TON of different strains of canibis plants, it's ridiculous how many. There's Nigerian skunk, Hawaiian skunk, who knows, who cares, as long as it gets you blazed. It really shouldn't be a shock to anybody if he tokes, you'd be surprised how many people smoke. I think it's like 1 in 3 has or something, and 1 in 4 regularly smokes doobage. Those pics that are posted at www.ourladypeace.cc, I think the ones from Belgium or something, have a couple of backstage pics with Raine in a hat, and he totally looks blown out in those pics. I think a lot of people have a misconception about pot, it doesn't make you stupid, you aren't killing yourself doing it or anything. It has more positive effects than negative, and although I don't feel like posting it now, I can later if somebody begs to differ. All I know is the next time I see OLP, I'm gonna bring a fat bag of chronic, and see if Raine wants to blaze.

umm you are wrong...smoking a joint is like smoking 10 cigarettes at once. If that is good for you then please tell me how? I am not saying anyone shouldnt smoke it but it is not in anyway good for you. Raine did look very stoned in those pictures

Actually, smoking a joint is like smoking about 5 or so, but if you put a filter in your joint, it's not as bad at all. Plus, the lungs are constantly repairing themselves, so you can smoke like 3 packs, and then in 2 weeks it'll be like they were before. Or something like that, I don't know exactly how long. And actually, marijuana is helpful for people with asthma. How you ask? Although they may cough, marijuana actually decreases the inflamation of the trachea, and other air pathways, so after they smoke, they'd be able to breathe easier. Plus, you'd be high! Two birds one stone, lol. Plus, it's a hell of a painkiller; more doctors would prescribe marijuana than Vicodin, Darvocets, Valium, or any other painkillers if they could.
