I'm excited hearing that Prongs is going to be back! Not holding my breath though. I hope Walt will be back b4 the playoffs cuz the blues will need him. Hopefully Cajanek will hold up during the POs. He's a finness player but not real gritty. Now Rucinsky, I have a feeling he's going to make a difference. He's real good with the puck...almost like Demetra. And with him paired up with Cajanek, they can do some damage..

Oh yeah..some pics from a charity event I was working at

the game the stars and oilers played on sat night a few days ago was absolutely amazing

brad isbister and radek dvorek played really well along w/ cory cross
the game as a whole was just great
lots of end to end rushes
lots of great offensively talented players.. it would only have been better if todd marchant was in the lineup (think of him lining up againt modano.. gah damn thats some obscene amount of speed on the ice)
go fuck yourself.

i like the oilers tho
them and the av's :)

from what the commentators were saying tho cross adds a physical element to the oilers blue line and plays well enough positionally to do well

Stupid Avs lost in OT last nite to the Sabres. Ha, it was great. Now they have to play Ottawa tonite, and they're gonna be tired, Roy will rested, but the rest of the team is gonna be so slow. And they're not gonna win the division because Vancouver is just too goddamn good. I can't wait to watch them tonite against Dallas. That's gonna be an awesome game.

i went to the game and it was a great game, my opinion on the linden thing is that the hatcher hit on naslund was a perfectly fine hit, and linden going back at hatcher was the right thing to do, if it was playoffs he wouldnt have done it, but its not playoffs so good for linden.but ya great game, and what a game by bertuzzi once again, the only thing stopping him from mvp in my opinion is the votes that naslund is gonna take away from him.

oh and i got my playoff tix:)

hey guys, i have a question?

i'm watching sport center right, you know just chillin, and hockey hilights come on. so i'm watching these things cause, well cause hockey is cool. but anyway after the highlights they show the score and the records and stuff, but i'm confused..... 32-11-8-15? ok, forst one is wins, but what's the rest mean, i know there has to be a losses, and draws i guess, but what's the fourth number?

confused as hell.....

welcome to the wonderful world of gary bettman (commish of the NHL).. where the NHL takes the game and fucks around with it :(

but to answer your question.. wins, losses, ties and then overtime losses.. they give teams who win a game in OT 2 pts and the team that loses still gets 1 pt like they would for tying but it doesnt count as a loss (unless your the goalie who still gets tagged for the loss)

its a stupid system devised by the NHL to cause the teams to play harder in OT and not just accept the tie and take their point.. before this system was put in, the losing team got nothing after playing hard for 60 minutes.. so its meant to benefit the teams for their hard work during the game for making it to OT and giving them the 1 pt.. and then after that.. the teams are allowed to fight it out for the extra point.. and with 4 on 4 in OT its great to watch lol.. altho i'd give up all of this for some playoff hockey :) .. even tho montreal isnt gonna make it.. which means im gonna get made fun of :(

ah well.. the oilers, sens and av's are gonna kick some ass this year 8-)

he's been doing really well since he came to edmonton, something like 1 goal and 4 or 5 assists in 6? games, and that's just as a third pairing defenseman.
