no offense alan but what your friend said about Canadians and about the country of canada wasnt exactly the nicest thing in the world .. if he was just pro-war and pro-bush it would be different.. but referring to anyone who is anti-war as a "tree-hugging hippy fag" and that just because i live in canada i cant speak out against something i disagree with isnt the right way to go about it..

Hey, I am anti-war too, and yeah, he said I was a tree hugging hippy fag or whatever, but I know he was just getting riled up about something he believes in. He's a nice guy who has strong beliefs in this, and after being told he was wrong got angry. I am sure all of you here have been angry at some point in your life, but what he said wasn't nice.

But back to the most important thing here, what Doug said was just fucking low. You don't wish some one would die when there's a good chance he may go to war. I don't like a bunch of people on this board, but I don't go around wishing death upon them, even if it's unlikely for them to die. There's a real possibility that something could happen to Dan, and for Doug to say that just proves that no matter how many websites you post on here trying to prove your point, his personality will come out proving that he is just an asshole.

Be a man Doug, apologize to Dan.

i'm sorry if it pisses you off, but he's admited to being in the armed forces. he's a willing killer.

even though this is probably going to put an end to reasonable debate between him and i, i cannot in good faith apologize to a person who wants to go to iraq and take part in the biggest mass murder since the second world war.

the idea that he's just following orders or doing his job doesn't float. the war is wrong and he should know better just like all of you should. i'm sorry that flipping out on him has cheapened my arguments, and it no doubt has, although i suppose that doesn't matter because you were never listening to begin with.

he took a shot and i took a shot. i'm sorry there's going to be a war and i'm sorry people are going to be dying because of it but it's people like your friend Dan who want it to happen so bad so let him go there and get what he wants for all i care.
