Its sucks not being able to sleep well at night.
Does anyone have any cures or home remidies that works, so that I may be able to get some decent shut eye for once?

Here are the things I've tried before, but they don't work for me, so...yeah
1. Drink warm milk
2. Play relaxing music
3. Try to imagine yourself somewhere and be really descriptive about it
4. Take deep breaths and try to relax
5. Count backward from 100 (that sometimes works for me) keep on doing it until you fall asleep
6. Don't go to sleep unless you're exhausted. If you don't fall asleep after an hour or so, get up and watch tv or something
I've had sleeping problems basically my whole life. I'm at the point where I think I should get it checked out, but that requires time and effort I don't have right now.
HARDCORE!!!
OMG. I can't believe I din't think fo you

I know this sounds kind of basic, but total darkness and silence always help me get to sleep. Maybe listen to relaxing music, like something classical.

It's bad if it's classical music I know very well, though, because then I like to hum it and that just keeps me more awake.

I sleep well at night, but I don't feel rested when I wake up. I can go to bed at 10 PM and be ready to pass out the next day by 6 PM.
I'm usually never really tired. There must be something wrong with me.

I don't sleep well either .. but music works for me .. I have 2 cd's that usually work .. one is Pachelbel with sounds of the ocean and the other is called Lullabies and Butterflies that my ex boyfriend bought for me to help me sleep. It has nature sounds through the music too. Was perfect when I had my own place .. living back at home with my mom's room right next door I can't play my music
Only other suggestion is sleeping pills .. they didn't help me fall asleep faster but once asleep they keep you asleep so you're not waking up all the time. Only problem with those is that they gave me really, really bad headaches and I didn't want to get out of bed in the mornings because they leave you feeling tired for so long .. not recommended .. I missed a lot of school because of those
Sometimes reading helps too ..

Hmmm. I dont wanna try sleeping medication. I dont wanna rely on it to sleep because I fear that I may start to become dependant on them.
I dont think that I've ever been able to sleep in ever. Not even after staying up till 4am either. I always manage to wake up a little past 8

Speaking of not being able to sleep, fire alarms shortly after 3 a.m. in my dorm are great fun as well.
