Bush is apparently going to make some address (again), giving Saddam "One last chance".
Comments?

Looks like a war will come in roughly 48 hours, as Saddam has "48 hours to leave Iraq".
Yeah, like that's ever going to happen...

'Do not destroy oil wells, a source of wealth belonging to the Iraqi people'
'We are a peaceful people'
Does anybody actually believe this bullshit?

There was also one about how all other courses of actions to avoid war have been attempted. Bullshit. Bush aimed at war from the start.

Makes me glad to be a Canadian thats for sure. knowing that we're not following him in his "effort to bring freedom to Iraq" makes me prouder than a peacock, or a beaver, either way
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

This will not result in freedom though he contradicted himself at least 5 times. He said that this will not be a war but military action what the hell is the difference. He is making in seem like we are going to send in the military and they will walk up to the enemy and politely ask them to put their guns on the floor and join their side. This is NOT what will happen b/c we are going to use 600 bombs to only hit "specific targets" which always works out real swell. He truthfully has not the slightest idea what he is doing. Someone needs to let him know that war is NOT peaceful.

People in Iraq will suffer with or without this war. Things will not magically change. I could take a hundred years before we see vast improvements. Sure they'll be "free" but if they aren't dead after the war then they'll be sick or dying.

I have dignity because no-one is killing people in my name.
I'm glad of this. As soon as Canada gets involved, I will no longer.
