That is the reason why I didn't like OLP because I found that they were really bad

Ok, even though OLP are amazing, you ARE entitled to your own opinion. But why the hell did you join an OLP message board if you think there are bad? thanks for coming out *clap*clap*.....

Eminem may be a dick, but so is Matt Good.

And we all love Matt Good, don't we?

Don't raise a double standard. Eminem's one of the most talented guys in rap, and probably the fourth most talented white rapper of all time (behind the Beasties, of course). Em's also becoming one of the people that can really be an influential voice in rap, like KRS-One and Rakim have become. You can already hear him beginning to switch from talking about what he usually does (his daughter, his mother, drugs, and Kim) to things that extend into the world on songs like "White America" and "Sing For The Moment". He's even beginning to state his own ability: "I've joked that I'm the best/but a lot of truth can be said in jest".

Meanwhile, I'm still trying to figure out why the video for "Superman" is on the 8 Mile DVD instead of "Lose Yourself". That makes no sense.

Matt Good is kinda misunderstood. The press makes him look like an ass when for the most part he is a good guy. He talks to his fans, posts daily on the MG message board and even posts his thoughts and feelings about things on his website, and even gives his email address out so that way people can let him know what they think.

As for Eminem, he got his break by being controversial, but now that people are listening to him and taking him seriously he has turned his music into a more positive form. He releases a song that's controversial to get everyone's attention again and then releases a more serious track. kinda smart really.

As for 50 cent... horrible. He and along with many other rappers just like him are what gives rap a bad name. I've often said that on any given day my 60 year old grandma could write better lyrics than some of these guys. You must be a genius to rhyme honey with money, or ho with dough... I cringe when I hear rap...

What you said makes sense... but I just don't see Matt Good as misunderstood.... I think he tries to run his mouth to get attention really...

But I really don't want to get started on Matt Good..

Eminem is a genius! his lyrics are works of art, and he is one of the only famous musicians who stayed real... who didn't change who he was in the first place..... I really respect that....

You're from Welland? Cool.. I'm in St. Catharines... but I work in Welland hehe

About to go to work soon  :freak:
