Anyone else like them? "Leaving Town" is a quality song. They sound quite a lot like OLP actually.

Dexter Freebish. Super-duper-double-extra-gravy awesome band! I discovered them on Napster back when it was up, and I haven't stopped listening since. My favorite song would have to be "Tomorrow". :D

Good god, that sounded so... spaztastic of me.

My brother is a supervisor for EMI/Capitol Records (Dexter Freebish's record label). The last time I was in their warehouse, I saw a shitload of their CD's for sale for $1.99 apiece. They have "deletion sales" each year, where they sell off all their stuff that didn't sell. You can get a ton of CD's for $1.99. Last winter I think I went home with well over 30 CD's.

yeah, dexter freebish is great. the whole cd "life of staurdays" is excellent and i keep finding myself going back and listening to it. i think 'leaving town' is one of my all-time favorite songs. and the title-track is such a fun song to listen to. ive gotten to see them live and theyre a lot of fun...really laid back...and they did one of the best covers of sweet caroline ive heard. definitely check them out.

I saw them at the Union (UT campus) 3 or 4 years ago. back before they won the John Lennon songwriting contest (for "Leaving Town")

The song "Leaving Town" kind of reminds me of Better Than Ezra's "Desperately Wanting"

these guys were really good live
then again
the concert i saw them at was amazing lol
(dexter freebish, nickelback (shoosh joey :P), the union underground, battery (metallica cover band) and lifehouse and the highlight of the night by far was fuel for Planetfest (put on by the only good radio station in jacksonville, florida)) ..
dexter freebish was really cool live and the song "leaving town" and "my madonna" as well are definately great songs :)

"Spotlight", "Deeper", "Higher", and "My Madonna" are also good picks. :)
