I cannot believe how much more takes place in The Two Towers book than in the movie. Those of us who have read the books already know what's going to happen in the first 1/4 or so of the 3rd movie. :)

I was super pissed at the way they ended the movie. SUPER PISSED.

But the movie was so awesome despite the ending that I forgave them. FOR NOW. If they screw up RotK, Mr. Fat Director will DIE...

... or at least have very, very angry vibes sent his way.

The books are amazing .. I saw the first movie and then went and read the entire series, including the Hobbit .. then I went back and watched the first movie another 20 times .. the second movie was good but they left so much out. The first time I saw it I left the theatre pissed off .. the ending bites. Then I went back to watch it 3 more times and I love it .. amazing .. they shouldn't have focused so much on the fighting .. they might have been able to included more .. Merry and Pippen definitely should have been in the movie more :(

I'd at least know how to stick to a plot.

Still, great movie, despite the blatant screwups.

Did you read the books? They messed up Faramir's character and made him bad ( :( ), left out several major plot points, added a few characters, changed some things that happened... I'm a purist.
