Me, I'm torn. I find partial-birth abortion to be inhumane, and yet I am against the government legislating against this type of thing - it's a step in the wrong direction and could lead to taking away other freedoms in the future... :hmm:
A partial-birth abortion, put simply, is where the pregnancy continues until birth, when, just before the head comes out, it is injected with something and the baby dies.

I think, if they're going to have an abortion, why not earlier in the pregnancy? And, if they're going to go through the pain of actually birthing the baby, why kill it, and not put it up for adoption? I don't know why anyone would do that.
Still. I worry about the way this is being treated in the media. Pro-lifers are touting it as the first step to completely banning abortion, which in Aerin's book, is Bad News.
I'm against abortion .. in any case .. but that's just me .. and this partial-birth thing is just horribly horribly wrong and I can't imagine anyone actually approving of this
I'm not......I'm so sick of people who are freakin careless, can't use protection, then they sit at home on their asses and don't do a thing about it. They come into the grocery store, using their food stamp money towards junk food and using their cash benefits toward beer and weed.
Sickening......abort them and give the babies to families who will take them in and raise them right.

if your gonna abort abort early
im very much against partial birth
im somewhat against abortions as a whole but under certain circumstances i do understand.. and approve.. i mean.. obviously if i was in the situation where i was raped and then give birth to this kid.. i dunno how anyone can do that.. thats just wrong for that reason alone abortions have to exist but partial-birth?! thats just wrong..
altho i do see your point aerin and the first mistake the government made was their ruling on embryionic stem-cell research which has a lot of promise in terms of curing diseases such as cancer, AIDS and just about everything else out there.. i do believe that in itself is also somewhat inhumane... but there comes a time when you have to accept the cost for the name of science and research..
partial-birth abortions however shouldnt even be something we as humans should have to even think about considering.. god thats just wrong
