My work just changed the dress code policy .. 'body piercings must not interfere with your ability to perform duties' .. hmm so I'm gonna ask about that .. cuz then I can get my eyebrow pierced now instead of waiting until the summer when I quit my job and move .. an eyebrow ring won't interfere with my duties :)

It's unprofessional bascially .. I dunno .. they didn't permit tongue rings before .. I wasn't about to take mine out because it doesn't affect my speech in any way .. plus how are they gonna know? Oh well ..

Me personally, no .. but it depends on who you talk too .. I sat there giggling cuz they had my tongue clamped and you can't help but drool a bit and the guy (who was extremely hot) kept cracking jokes and we had to keep waiting until I stopped laughing. I didn't even feel it go through. Other people will tell you they thought they were going to die .. all depends on how much some people can handle.

you could combine your two ideas. Get a chinese symbol of something in memory of your dad.
