speaking of computer desks and shelves underneath them, yesterday the shelf with my scanner on it under the computer desk fell and while trying to fix it i got my finger jammed between the shelf and the desk. it was scary. i thought we were going to have to amputate for a minute there.

Thank you Reno for that. That just reminds me of my presentation in school on how to make a Molotov Cocktail. I made the presentation, did the drawings, gave people handouts, then I got sent to the principal's office because I was obviously planning to blow up the school. Yeah....
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

i just read this:

Sept. 13, 2001 - "The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until we find him" - George W Bush

March 13, 2002 - "I don't know where he is. I have no idea and I really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority." - George W Bush

... that bugs me ...

Without you I'm as good as
dead ...
