to be completely honest i hope they don't, songs that become national billboard hits end up going down the drain fast "because when your on top theres nowhere left to go but down" look at creed and nickelback

they are far from mainstream cause they dont sell millions of records....i think it would be great if they made it a little bit bigger in the states....i just wish they came back to canada for a full fledged tour (more than like 8 shows)
Is there something good, something more?

they already sold out
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

]They're mainstream in Canada
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

My friends think OLP is "Feminine". Ignorant fools.

I don't think they're mainstream in Canada .. most people I know either don't like Our Lady Peace, or have no clue who they are or can't name a song by them .. of course they're popular here .. but I wouldn't say mainstream .. I'm the only one out of my friends who likes Our Lady Peace :(

Hmm.. what would we do if computers weren't invented yet and we were all alone with our love of OLP? It would be a sad world indeed.

Like I said, they're ignorant. They stand by their "opinions" and refuse to try it.

I should rephrase something. These aren't my friends I'm talking about. These are friends of friends. My friends are the impartial group who don't like or hate OLP. They'll listen to it if it's on, but they aren't fans by any means.

OLP isnt the most masculine music around it is kind of emotional and deep except for gravity, which raine most likley wrote in ten minutes. Some people need simple music that deal with simple issues.

OLP were mainstream in the US this summer.

They play in the biggest club in NYC and it sold out so that is mainstream.

None of my friends are OLP fans either. Which is sad because it would be nice to go to a OLP concert with friends who could actually sing along
