don't worry folks... Justin Trudeau will save us all in 10 years and Canada will get better.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

Umm.. you call them Americans. You totally missed the point. Don't say "we shouldn't compare Americans to Canadians" when 3 posts before that you said "I deal with Americans and you wouldn't believe how ignorant they are"

If you weren't comparing them to other nationalities, you would've said "I deal with so many ignorant people on a daily basis."

You totally side-stepped the issue.

Fine I deal with ignorant American people all day .. there is no side stepping that .. I don't deal with Canadians or Australians or British people .. I deal with Americans .. I'm not doing a comparison, simply pointing out the obvious ..

Plus I said we shouldn't compare people according to their countries about who is more superior and who is better based on the country they're from .. totally different here ..

If I said .. yeah I deal with Americans and they're all mean, but when I deal with Canadians they're super nice .. that's a comparison .. one I did not make .. there is no fight here .. stop looking for one.

Every country and every city has it's share of ignorant people .. you're not immune to being an ass just because you're from Canada or you're from America or wherever you're from ..

Please point out the post in which I've done so. That way I can make sure it doesn't happen again.

Then what are you using to base your judgement of ignorance?

If I said someone is stupid, then I am ultimately comparing that person to people I feel are not stupid. Another person might think that same individual is smart.

The same would be if I said that the Canadians I speak to are overly-defensive. I made it a point to mention that they were Canadians and ultimately am comparing them to people who aren't Canadians.

Ugh .. fine .. whatever .. I'll say whatever you want to end this .. this is getting really old and there's nothing to debate here.

Oh and if you're going to quote me like you attempted to do here: "I deal with Americans and you wouldn't believe how ignorant they are"

Please use an ACTUAL quote of mine instead of putting what you THINK I said in quotation marks .. if you look back I said "the ignorance SOME Americans have when they find out they're dealing with Canadians is disgusting" That was back on page 1 ..

Thanks.

i think the end game here is to point out:

a. america bashing is stupid. america does not exist, as i pointed out earlier. it is an abstraction invented by men.
b. being american does not give anyone person some sort of defined personality. there is nothing an american has done or would do that a canadian would not do if in the same situation.
c. it may surprise you to know that the majority of people are ignorant assholes. this includes canadians.
