Riddle me this...
I think Gravity was great......not "Happiness" or "SM" great......but none the less I was happy with the finished product.
Let's all not cry about Gravity......lets look forward to "Album 6", because album 6 is gonna hurt so damn bad but feel sooooooo good!
I think "Our Time Is Fading" has to show a tint of what #6 will be like......hard, kick ass, so on and so forth.

don't get those hopes up... i did like gravity, it kicks ass when you put it next to other albums, just not OLP albums. If Bob Rock can stop minipulating the band into the strange sexual pleasure he makes the do with him maybe then we can get back to some "old" style OLP, the good OLP. I have a friend who has listened to a few OLp songs and he was so weirded out how Raine Maida's voice is so diffferent from Everyone's a Junky to SWOT. Its rock's fault we can't have "old" olp. Damn ROCK!

I don't wanna know about Rock and his sexual advances.......that ain't right. Perhaps his ghosts haunting the place there in Hawaii have been passing him invisible viagara.
I don't have high hopes at all.....no matter what I'm sure I'll love it.
BTW.....if anybody wants the Unwritten Law "From Music In High Places" album, look for me on the hub, I'll hook ya up.

Don't let Our Time is Fading give you any example of what the next album will be like. When I heard whatever i thought that they'd be getting into some more rockish music. What part of Gravity is rock? Is it Somewhere Out There? Made of Steel (which, coincidently, my girlfriend originally thought was a Moffats song)? Yes, all for you is a great song. Yes I enjoy the verses to sorry and the guitair in Sell my soul and yes, Bring Back the sun can draw tears. However, Gravity ain't rock. It ain't anything special. Happiness, on the other hand, had everything. It had the sweet sweet work of all of the bandmates during one man army. It had Mike's beautiful guitair solos in 9 out of 11 songs. It had Duncan's wonderful basslines in Blister and Consequence of Laughing. It had Jer's sporatic drum beats popping in and out of songs like Theif, waited, and Stealing Babies (even though Elivn Jones played in the song, he can still do it live so I'd still call it his drumming). It had Raine's thoughtful lyrics on topics that aren't covered by every other band out there. It was the best album. It was put together perfectly with every song having certain strongpoints and surprises. Beat that.
Don't ask questions, just accept it.

Didn't they both play in that song? I thought I could hear two different drummers jamming near the end of the song...
