Whenever death may surprise us,
let it be welcome
if our battle cry has reached even one receptive ear
and another hand reaches out to take up our arms.

Nobody's gonna miss me, no tears will fall, no ones gonna weap, when i hit that road.
my boots are broken my brain is sore, fer keepin' up with thier little world, i got a heavy load.
gonna leave 'em all just like before, i'm big city bound, your always 17 in your hometown

My parents are the slowest typers you'll ever meet. They type 1 sentence a minute.

well they gotta find out somehow
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

my mom can't even figure the cable box out.

and that's scary, alan... about the leukemia thing... because one of my mom's friends has it, but doesn't tell her parents because her mom is a psychobitch and doesn't want them to worry about her.

< sigh > death happens. I will get over it after the inevitable does happen to her. It really scares me though. I mean, she has lived a full 90 years, but I don't want to see her go.

And your mom's friend should really tell her mom...
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

She (Kathy) really hasn't told her mom anything. She's about 45 or so, married a man, and didn't tell her mom because her mom didn't like him. The man she married, Ken, died about 2 years ago from cancer, and her parents still didn't know they were married. It's really sad. Kathy's mom has a lot of problems (she's just a little insane), and Kathy just doesn't want to put her burden on her.

My fiancee went with this guy to this music studio and recorded some stuff for about five hours... He told me that the people really liked his vocals (LOL! he is pretty good... he sings to make me sleep... lol). I'm pretty excited for him because for the past year or so he's been trying really hard to make it as an actor and he's getting kind of burnt out. So now, he's trying to get either a music career or a writing job for Sesame Street. ::sigh:: I hope something happens for either one. It sucks to see him question what he wants to do with his life.
