well my dad just got an awesome car, and its manual, so im gonna havta learn if i ever want to drive it. plus guys might think its cool that i can drive one? (i dunno, i cant understand them)

Most do... I drive stick :) It's really easy after you learn... and it's really fun.

automatic is where it is at....cruise control allowed me to survive half of our drives during the Rochy trip and it will be used a lot during the Michigan trip i am sure

Have you ever driven stick? Most people who learn how to drive stick, like it a lot more than automatic... They wouldn't switch back... It's just nice to have better control of the vehicle.

I need to learn stick. That'll be my goal this summer (it has been my goal for the last two summers, hah). Anyone have tips? :)

maybe it would help getting my driver's liscence before learning stick... that way i dont have to learn every sunday in the highschool parking lot..

i have a 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V. It has a six speed gearbox.

and cruise control. i used it the whole way to Calgary last weekend to see my love goddess.
