i hope afi plays last again. seeing them in the early evening hour was fucking killer.

line up is ok.

i wish there was less emo.
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

Oh man, seeing AFI live at all would be fucking awesome for me.

And yeah, that was the most common complaint i've heard from people about the lineup, but hey no complaints from me.

I am not going to it. I might go for Rancid, but I value having a full set of teeth after concerts, and their pit fucking scares me. Where the hell is Alkaline Trio? You don't have the Warper Tour without Alkaline Trio damnit. And ALK3 closed last year Jeff, seeing that at the Detroit show, a bunch of people came out on stage and all sang Radio. I heard it was a pretty beautiful sight, too bad I called ahead and was told ALK3 would be opening, which is the very opposite of closing Goddamnit.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Yeah, Alkaline Trio last year was really really good, played in the early evening if my memory serves me correctly. And yes, the warped tour last year was in the Comerica Park parking lot. Which was the stupidest thing they could've ever done. It was SO cramped there and everyone looked miserable, but I still had a kick ass time.

they haven't announced venues yet, only cities. hopefully they take it back to phoenix plaza. i was there for the OLP show in the summer and that seems like the perfect place for a summer show like this.
