Everyone is being so dramatic about this. Not meeting the band isn't the end of the world .. plus a lot of you have met the band before .. not all of us have been that lucky.
I don't want to go downstairs. My mom's gonna want to know everything that happened, and I don't want to talk about it. At all. I'm so depressed right now. My god, this isn't fair.

I actually liked it better when I could just hate them. Because I knew they'd make it up eventually. Plus it was fun to make fun of them. This just. My god. Why didn't anything go right on this trip. We're allowed to be dramatic. We literally nearly died about 6 times on the trip.

Holy shit .. here we go .. you wanna compare sob stories now? Fine .. my dad is dead. AND I've been at concerts and stood outside in the freezing cold and left without meeting the band, many times ... was I upset? No .. there are more important things in life to be depressed over. You had a bad concert experience, as have MANY of us.
Wow. I just read the past like 5 pages of this thread and it took me FOREVER. I can understand why you guys would be depressed about this. I was too at first while I was reading. But I'm glad they did go outside after all. And you guys still are lucky. Like other people have said in this thread, Bethany you got 2 guitar picks, and you guys have met them before. I've never met them or gotten anything from them and neither have a lot of people. But you still have the right to be depressed about this for a while.

I live one of the least eventful and boring lives a person could ask for. Nothing ever seems to go right for me. Sorry if you don't think this is a big deal. But, you must live a life that's a lot more exciting than mine. Congratulations. You're better than this pathetic human being who doesn't get to leave the house more than a few times a month. For me, meeting OLP again would have been an experience that would make me happy for quite some time. Instead I'm depressed because I didn't stick around for a few more minutes. And now you people for some reason are out to get me. Thanks.

yeah, if you dont wnat to hear them complaining baout, don't come in thsi thread. it IS understandable to be upset about it. thats just bad luck. and being upset about bad luck is very natural. there ARE a lot more things to be upset about in life, but that doesnt mean that you're not allowed to sulk over something that means a lot to you. until something reaches the importance of losing osmebody, are people not supposed to eb upset about it? i cried when i thought i was going to miss the central park show---soemtime siw onder hwo stupid i am for getting so upset about such retarded things, but emotions are emotions. telling people to "get over it" is very insensetive.

I was the girl in the first row standing right across from the security guards (where the gate thing had a huge opening)..i saw you with the sign and saw you get the picks...that was awesome..i had the guard get me a set list....did you say rich and shelley were standing near you? to your right? how long did you really stand outside for waiting for them?..i was going to but too cold and i had to go home..im sorry you missed them..maybe next time..later
