Rochester on February 7th
[Enter Brent]
Brent: Hm..... where are all the people that would normally be posting in this topic?
*scratches head*
Brent: Oh Yes! They're in Rochester!
*Brent thinks back to the one OLP concert he has attended*
Brent: I wonder if they'll take picture for poor old me to see....
*sighs*
Brent: I'll be back.
[Exit Brent]

wow, this was pretty amazing, waiting outside in the freezing cold was worth it.
They mixed up the set too for the first time in ages. They started with...
Naveed
Superman's Dead
do you like it
Not Enough
it was insane, they did the Drive cover which was well done, and Raine interacted with the audience a couple times (one time he told us he had to stop the intro to Is Anybody home so he could blow his nose, and then he told a girl that they couldnt play thief for her for her b-day so instead he said they'd play drive and then they broke out into that...)
Raine seemed a lil mad about the lack of enthusiasm in the audience though, A lot of ppl didn't know the songs (at least the ones that were around me) and there was a hell of a lot of crowd surfing.
I'm just trying to think of what else to say... overall it wasn't the best show I have seen but I think that because they mixed up the set that made it tons better. They seemed a tad tired but thats understandable considering they drove from New Foundland to Rochester. but still in the end it made for one hell of a b-day present.
oh ya, it was awesome meeting you guys, you really made the time fly by, and I had tons of fun, we gotta do that again.
and the coolest thing ever was at this concert... they had santa clause interpreting the songs for the deaf, now that was amazing!

I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

I had a question for anyone out there. Being a college student I am totally broke and didn't have money for a shirt last night and the one I wanted I can't find online anywhere. Does anyone know of anywhere I could find the black long sleeve tour shirt that was at the concert last night? I would totally appreciate anyone who would help me out.
Thanx!!
it definately wasn't there best. The crowd kinda sucked. The first show I've been to where Raine had to finish 4am. I swear nobody recognized Birdman.
I was worried that they weren't even going to come out for the encore because the crowd was barely cheering. Well, that's an RIT concert for ya.
The Naveed openning was great though and then lead right into Superman's dead. That was awesome.

ya for the most part the crowd was pathetic. I was fortunate to be in front of someone who insisted on singing every song but yet knew only half the words, I eventually turned and looked at the girl, and she just kept on goin, I wanted to smack her.
I think that the band could tell who were the fans and who were just their for the sake of it. I know Duncan seemed to notice me and my girlfriend from past shows.
Raine even laughed at the "bedroom walls..." portion of IAH cause you could really hear ppl who knew the words trying to overcome those who didnt.
Overall I think the experience was good but the show was kinda iffy in some parts... but hey those guys are work horses and they gave it their all and thats all I can ask for really. Not their fault if the crowd sucks.

I agree that this show wasn't their best. Raine was sick with his runny nose, and the rest of them probably weren't feeling too terrific. I couldn't believe we didn't get to finish "4 AM" either - I didn't think we were that quiet! Oh well - there were only 1800 of us.

ok. I'm going to make this really short, and I'll fill in all the details later.
We waited outside in the freezing cold for 4 hours and they REFUSED to let us in. The set list wasn't anything to write home about. The band pulled that bullshit that they pulled with Aerin. We were very angry, and are still mad. End of story.

It was really, really, REALLY cold, and we were sitting outside for like 4 hours, at least. The people in charge of the venue wouldn't let us wait inside. I mean, I went in to go to the bathroom, and was taking my time to put my freaking gloves on in the lobby and they told me to leave. Just plain inconsiderate.
