don't change my rules.
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

i find it funny that everyone praises the new birdman, even though it was only recently (about a week ago) that steve added anything new or different to the song at all.

Just didn't want two songs from the same album to be one after another, and I pick Potatogirl over Blister any day

that's bad logic, holmes.

if you think blister is better than innocent, pick it. blister comes after potato girl on happiness. it works there so it will work on this cd.

1. One Man Army
2. In Repair
3. Potato Girl
4. Blister
5. 4 AM
6. Waited
7. Clumsy
8. Lying Awake
9. Bring Back The Sun
10. The Wonderful Future
11. Stealing Babies

Happiness - 6
Spiritual Machines - 2
Clumsy - 2
Gravity - 1
Naveed - 0

I never really could get into Naveed. I mean, I would pick Naveed, but I just like 4AM more. Besides that, I don't think there's any other song besides Starseed that I got into, and Potato Girl is a much better song than Starseed is. So yeah, no Naveed picks.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

1. The Birdman
2. Happiness & the Fish
3. Potato Girl
4. Hope
5. 4am
6. Not Enough
7. Denied
8. All My Friends
9. If You Believe
10. The Story of 100 Aisles
11. Stealing Babies

That was awfully difficult. My ideal album is Naveed, really, but I figured I should even it out a bit. :)

Steve did a solo during The Birdman in Eugene, Oregon last November. I think they started doing it the second time they went to Europe touring for Gravity. Three months is not one week. Before that, they were extending what is on the album and adding a lot of dynamic contrast. The audiences obviously liked that, which is why people were praising that too.
