who? Rivers?

well i think everyone thinks buddy holly when it comes to Weezer which is a damn shame b/c Pinkerton is amazing.

i dont really see much inspiration in todays music from nirvana anymore. all i know is releasing that NIRVANA cd was just a scam to get money.

sorry. yeah, rivers.

this is just me, but i don't think nirvana's songs are all that great past the hype.
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

I agree with what you just said Jeff.

I like Nirvana, but they just don't seem all that great to me.

i think it is simply because they were so popular and he just suddenly killed himself nothing about superior talent.

Nirvana doesnt have the greatest talent. Kirk Cobain wasnt the best writer in the world nor was his band the greatest musicians. It was more about the feeling that his.. or Nirvana's music evoked from people. I agree that the actual music is over rated but the band itself and what kind of influence it had on rock isnt.

its Kurt Cobain not Kirk
I pledge allegiance to the flag of Michigan and to the state for which it stands, 2 peninsulas surrounded by the beautiful great lakes and united by a bridge of steel and where we all love the Detroit Red Wings

Maybe he didn't with a glaring error like that!! That's like asking us to believe everything you say when you spell Raine.................Rayn...it cast doubts into our minds........evil festering doubts......indeed, I must kill them.......umm haha, yeah, just make sure you get it right next time. :)
