OLP and Drugs

Post by Axtech »

Fear of the Trailer Park band notes wrote:I’m traveling on the band bus for a couple of days. OLP and The Trailer Park Boys are causing a lot of trouble on the bus. Dope this and dope that, smoking and shopping carts. It’s all being documented so you will all get to see this madness. And how it unfolds.

Does this mean that OLP are doing drugs now...?

I'm hoping they're refering to the drugs Jer and Steve may be taking for the flu...

I doubt that OLP are really the drug-type kinda guys, and if they were, i would hope it wouldnt come out on that posting board, nor at all

Did anyone else think the posts seem a little not-so-happy, like some of the bands /comedy groups arent getting along?

me too. I don't think they're on drugs.

Haha, I remember last summer when someone had a picture and told us he was smoking. Raine was actually sucking a lollipop. :)

Who was that?

I've gotten into arguments with my friends over whether OLP does drugs... They seem to think all rock stars do them, and although I have no proof they don't do them, I still back up the fact that they don't do any.

Really? Raine would be the last one I would pick. Or actually I think Jeremy would. But I really don't think any of them do drugs. Or maybe it's just wishful thinking..

Wasn't raine addicted to pain killers, i.e. Consequences? I have just heard this, don't know if there's truth to it.

RAINE???
He's the last person I would pick...
We don't even know for sure...I highly doubt it though.
From reading Jeremy's post of the FOTTP page..he doesn't like the TP boys very much.
here's the post
01/31/2003 - "Checking In"
by Jeremy

Hello All. It’s Jeremy Here. I’m here in Winnepeg. It’s a little chilly today, and I’m sick as a dog. I caught the flu from our boy Steve. The show will be fine tonight though. I just slept for 15 hours.

This arena here in winnepeg is totally old school, it reminds me of Maple Leaf gardens. A lot of history.
The trailer park boys are driving me crazy. They keep calling me skellington. I made the mistake of wearing a Maui built shirt with skulls on it. Therefore they keep calling me skellington. It’s very upsetting. I mean what kind of name is skellington. I hate it.

Seether are really great fella’s though. A solid band. And of course Finger 11 are great as usual.

This has got to be our best Canadian tour ever. I hope most of you are getting an opportunity to see us. I hope to see all of you soon.
Your friend ,
Jer

Yea...they seems to bust chops alot...that can be annoying.
poor Jeremy.

Guarantee you, after they are done with Jer, Raine's head is next target.

I doubt Raine does drugs, especially pot/smoking. Theres no way he could keep his falsetto if he smoked regulary.

I really don't see why they wouldn't.

I mean, they're in a rock band. They're an intelligent rock band, but many intelligent rock bands have used mind-altering substances in the past and many continue today, so whatever.

It's all about HOW the chemicals are used. Not that I'm really a fan of it, but drugs can definitely provide a different perspective.

my brother thinks he's ond rugs because he is so "out of it" when eh si performing, ut i think he is just passionate. i REALLY dont think he's on drugs....or any of them for that matter. true a lot of bands DO use drugs for a different view on things or whatever, but those bands usually odnt last 10 years. you could be like aerosmith, but if a band s around ten years, the drug use is obvious.
