i don't like too much on my desktop. But i know some people who put EVERYTHING on their desktop.

Dude, you guys should've seen my instructor's desktop... for a guy that teaches computer courses he sure knew how to lose files on his desktop. The ENTIRE thing was always covered. And I think he had it at the highest resolution possible for his monitor. It was ugly. Very very ugly. Mine's getting pretty bad, too, unfortunatly. See:
