i'm a believer now
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

heh.

I can't find any older live pics with him playing it. So he most likely just started using it.

It might be a harder stretch than normal. I don't think it would be much of a problem though...

Heh, i started playing guitar at school this year and they use classical guitars with a nice wide neck, so i been sorta weened on that. It would be a very easy adjustment. Those dumb classicals have nylon strings though so when i moved to steel it sorta hurt.

Every one Ii know says that I got piano fingers. small and puny, but big enough to play my guitar. I tried classical guitars and I found it easy to play, just like my normal axe

haha piano hands... yes well your hands should be kinda big to play piano, well at least your fingers long if you are going to play it right. take a pic of your hands and i will judge. my dad has a gypsy guitar he got specially made and its neck soo wide i cant begin to play it.

Err i have a question. It doesnt really have anything to do with this topic in particular but i didnt want to post a new one. I'm really new guitar and well.. when im tuning using an electric tuner (not good enough to go by ear just yet) what do i go by. For example when i first strike the string it may be in tune but what follows may fall a little into the flat, or sharp range. So question is, do i go by when i first strike the string, or what follows afterwards, or just a average between the two sorta thing. Sorry for my dumbness

You may just be picking the string too hard. Always go for a soft pick (or pluck) when tuning.
